Say goodbye to environmental anxiety! LoRaWAN sensors make business and elderly care spaces smarter
January 04 , 2026
Feeling hot and cold while shopping in a mall, getting sleepier and sleepier while sitting in an office building, or having difficulty controlling the temperature and humidity in nursing home rooms? These seemingly insignificant environmental issues are actually related to CO₂ concentration and imbalances in temperature and humidity. The emergence of the ZONEWU LoRaWAN CO₂, temperature and humidity sensor is solving these pain points for smart commercial spaces and elderly care institutions through precise monitoring and intelligent linkage, making environmental management more worry-free and efficient.
1. Smart Business Space: Comfort Experience and Energy Saving Win-Win
In crowded shopping malls and office buildings, traditional environmental management often falls into a "dilemma": either relying on manual inspections for delayed adjustments, or having equipment operate continuously at full capacity, resulting in energy waste. After a first-tier city's Grade A office building introduced this sensor, this situation was completely changed.
The sensor adopts the non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) principle, with a CO₂ concentration measurement range covering 0-6000ppm and a resolution of ±50ppm. The temperature and humidity monitoring accuracy even reaches ±0.3℃ and ±2% RH, enabling it to accurately capture subtle environmental changes in open office areas and shopping mall atriums. Relying on the ultra-long-distance transmission capability of the LoRaWAN protocol, even in commercial complexes exceeding 10,000 square meters, the sensor can penetrate shelves and walls to upload data to the management platform in real-time.
When the CO₂ concentration in the office area exceeds the comfortable threshold of 1000ppm, or the temperature and humidity in the shopping mall deviate from the suitable range of 24-26℃ and 45%-65% RH, the sensor will immediately link with the fresh air and air conditioning systems for automatic adjustment, with a response within 10 seconds. Data shows that after the equipment was put into use, the duration of excessive CO₂ in the office building decreased by 90%, employee work efficiency increased by 25%, and the air conditioning energy consumption in the shopping mall reduced by 18%, achieving a dual improvement in experience and energy conservation.

2. Smart Elderly Care Institutions: Precisely Safeguarding the Living Safety of the Elderly
From the comfort and energy efficiency of commercial spaces to the precise monitoring of elderly care facilities, LoRaWAN CO₂, temperature and humidity sensors, with their robust parameters and flexible adaptability, have become a "capable assistant" in smart environmental management. As IoT technology becomes more widespread, they will also shine in more scenarios, bringing "data-driven environmental regulation" into every aspect of life.
